Jose de Jesus Soltero, 29, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2005, south of Sandpoint, Idaho, in an automobile accident.

The vigil/rosary prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005, in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel. Burial will follow in Ayutla, Jalisco, Mexico, next week.

Jose was born in Ayutla, Mexico, on Dec. 23, 1975, the son of Elias and Maria Soltero.

Jose attended schools in Mexico and Yakima, Wash.

He worked in Mexican restaurants for many years.

On July 23, 2005, he married Janet Robles in Yakima, Wash. He moved to Sandpoint and was working as a waiter in the Fiesta Bonita restaurant in Ponderay, Idaho.

He is survived by his wife, Janet Soltero of Yakima, Wash.; his daughter, Anna Rosa Soltero of Goldendale, Wash.; his parents, Elias and Maria Soltero of Ayutla, Mexico; a brother, Hector Manuel Soltero of Yakima; four sisters, Christina Landeros of Bellingham, Wash., Maria Gloria Soltero of Mexico, Alma Delia Soltero of Mexico and Elizabeth Rocio Soltero of Mexico; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint, Idaho.
