Matthew "Mattie" Christopher Federoff, 45

Matthew "Mattie" Christopher Federoff, 45, passed away suddenly in Sandpoint, Idaho on Dec. 22, 2005.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29 in Coffelt's Funeral Chapel.

Mattie was born in Yonkers, N.Y. on Dec. 2, 1960, the son of Roberta C. and Roy L. Federoff, Sr. He graduated from high school in Yonkers and moved to the Sandpoint area in 1988.

In Sandpoint he continued his love of driving truck and operating heavy equipment. He married Lisa Simons on June 24, 2004 in Sandpoint.

His passions were snowmobiling, four-wheeling, boating, motorcycling, music and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Federoff of Sandpoint; his son, Mattie Federoff of Newport, Wash.; stepsons Jake and Garrett Simons of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; his father, Roy L. Federoff, Sr. of Yonkers; three sisters, Roberta A. Federoff of Yonkers, Lisa M. Moore of Bloomingburg, N.Y. and Helen L. Federoff of Sidney, N.Y.; two brothers, Roy L. Federoff, Jr. of Pawling, N.Y. and Christopher J. Federoff of Cedar Park, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Roberta; and two sisters, Denise L. and Jane L.

Memorials may be made in Mattie's name to the American Kidney Foundation.
