NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing at the following time on Thursday, January 12, 2006, in Courtroom 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following request:

4:00 P.M. - FILE #AM88-05 - ORDINANCE AMENDMENT - TITLE 12 - PUBLIC SERVICES - BONNER COUNTY is initiating an amendment to its land use codes, Title 12, Bonner County Revised Code, Chapters 9, 11, 12, 13 and 14, to establish two and one-half (2-1/2) acre site area minimums in the Suburban, Commercial, Rural Service Center District, Industrial and Recreation zoning districts where neither OurbanO water nor OurbanO sewer services, as defined by current ordinance, is available and one (1)-acre minimums where either an urban water or urban sewer service is available. The proposed ordinance would also set site area minimums varying from one (1) to five (5) acres for duplexes, depending on service availability and zoning districts. An interim ordinance setting these standards was adopted by Bonner County in 2005. If adopted, this ordinance would make permanent the standards established by the interim ordinance. Copies of the proposed ordinance are available at the Bonner County Planning Department for review.
