REQUEST FOR QUOTES TO RE-ESTABLISH VENDOR LIST FOR TREATMENT OF HAZARDOUS FUELS

The Bonner County Wildland Fire Mitigation Committee is requesting quotes from qualified Vendors to re-establish a Vendor list to provide treatment of hazardous fuels, in Bonner County.

Inquiries should be addressed to Bonner County, Department of Emergency Management, 4001 N Boyer Ave., Bldg. 3, Sandpoint, ID 83864 and must be received by 5:00 p.m. on 28 February 2005.

Types of activities performed under this project may include: hand and mechanically cutting brush, removing dead shrubs' and trees, piling brush, chipping, relocating firewood stacks, cleaning roof gutters, and other activities.

Vendor will comply with all regulations that are applicable to the following funding agencies: Panhandle National Forest (U.S.F.S.), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Idaho Department of Lands (IDL) and Bonner County.

The prospective Vendor will comply with all local, state, and federal fire laws and the Idaho Forest Practices Act.
