REBID OF HONEYSUCKLE HILLS WATER SYSTEM

IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

HONEYSUCKLE HILLS

HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION

KOOTENAI COUNTY, IDAHO

Separate sealed Bids for the REBID of Honeysuckle Hills Water System Improvement Project will be received by Welch, Comer & Associates, Inc., 1626 Lincoln Way, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814, until 2:00 p.m. (Local Time), on Thursday, February 17, 2005 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

The Scope of the Base Bid work shall include trench excavation, backfill, site preparation and restoration, and installation of up to approximately 9,425 feet of 8 inch PVC waterline and up to approximately 2,020 feet of 6 inch PVC waterline. The new PVC waterline will replace the Associations existing 4 inch and 6 inch dipped and wrapped steel waterline. The reconnection of existing and installation of new water services and fire hydrants shall also be included in this work. Pavement restoration on East Hayden Lake Road shall be completed by Lakes Highway District.

Copies of the Bidding Documents may be obtained at the office of Welch, Comer & Associates, Inc., located at 1627 Lincoln Way, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho upon a non-refundable payment of $65.00 for each set.

A Bid shall be enclosed in an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the Project title, name and address of Bidder, and shall be accompanied by the Bid security and other required documents. If the Bid is sent through the mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation "BID ENCLOSED". Bids delivered by facsimile machine will not be accepted.

A pre-bid conference will be held beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2005. Prospective bidders are to meet at the Honeysuckle Hills Homeowners Association office located on Honeysuckle Avenue across from U.S. Post Office.

A Public Works Contractor License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. All bids shall contain one of the following forms of Bidder's security in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total Base Bid and all add alternates, made payable to OWNER: a) Bidder's Bond executed by a surety company qualified to conduct business in the State of Idaho; b) Certified Check; c) Cashier's Check; or d) Cash.

OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
