Pauline M. Cochran, 82

Pauline M. Cochran, 82, passed away on Feb. 5, 2005, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 11, at 11 a.m., at English Funeral Chapel in Post Falls with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services.

Pauline was born April 10, 1922, the daughter of Frank X. Kohler and Anna Marie Schafer in Minton, Saskatchewan, Canada.

Pauline married George C. Fournier in Plentywood, Mont., in July 1939. They had two children, Patricia Ann and William George. Her husband was killed in the Phillipines in World War II while serving in the armed forces.

Pauline then married Neal B. Cochran in July 4, 1945, in Thompson Falls, Mont. They had two children, Carol Jean and Sean Padraic. Neal died in 2001 from Alzheimer's disease.

She moved to Coeur d'Alene from Sandpoint in 1992.

Pauline was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Parish in Sandpoint and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by her children, Patsy Cann of Post Falls, Idaho, William (Cris) Fournier of Saratoga, Wyo., Carol Oliveira of Omaha, Neb., and Sean Cochran of Hillsboro, Ore; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, six brothers and five sisters, a son-in-law and a great-granddaughter.
