Norma L. Charland, 95

Norma L. Charland, 95, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2005.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at the Sandpoint Lutheran Church in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Norma was born in Malden, Wash., in 1909. She was raised in Sandpoint and graduated Sandpoint High School in the late 1920s.

She married Les Charland in 1930 and was a homemaker.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Jack Alley of Spokane, Wash; a daughter-in-law, Christina Charland of Sandpoint; eight grandchildren, Brett, Shawn, Michael, Geraldine, Helen, Kim, Gina and Bernadette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Les Charland, in 1980; three sons, Norman, Bernard and Edward; and two grandsons, Bryan Alley and Daniel Charland.

Memorials may be made to any animal shelter of the donor's choice.
