Marion Dorothy Belgarde, 79, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Friday, Feb. 4, 2005.

Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 11, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Coffelt's Moon Chapel in Sandpoint. Vigil Service with Rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 11, 2005. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Pinecrest Memorial Park. The Rev. Dennis C. Day will officiate.

Marion was born in Council, Alaska, the daughter of Pete and Mary (Willook) Lee. At age 7, Marion resided at the Catholic Mission in Pilgram Springs, Alaska.

Marion met Trygyve Jorgensen and together they had seven children. She later met Greg Belgarde and together they had nine children. The family moved to Sandpoint in 1974, where Marion resided until the time of her death. Her passions in life were raising her children, gardening, sewing and cooking.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Mary Lee; her husband, Greg Belgarde; three sons, Johney Jorgensen, Greg Belgarde and Leo Belgarde; a daughter, Susan Belgarde; a sister, Nina Lee; and a brother, Conrad Lee.

Surviving family members include Gale H. Belgarde and wife Cheri of Sagle, Idaho, Rena E. Belgarde of Cordova, Alaska, and Sandpoint, Christine Belgarde of Cordova, Loyd Belgarde of Florida, Lyle N. Belgarde and wife, Lori, of Kootenai, Idaho, Virginia Belgarde of Cordova, Trygyve Jorgensen Jr. of Alaska, David Jorgensen of California, Cecelia Jorgensen Walker of Australia, Mary Jorgensen Hunt of Alaska, Pete Jorgensen of Ashland, Va., Robert E. Lee of Alaska, and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service, Inc., of Sandpoint.
