Democrats need to move on

| February 16, 2005 8:00 PM

Over the past few weeks there have been a number of letters published in the Bee from our liberal/Democrat friends whining about disenfranchisement. There have been calls for affirmative action and "better" education as a couple of solutions to their perceived lack of representation.

What I think they should be working on is the annexation of King County now situated in the state of Washington, where there were 2,000 more votes than voters, giving the governorship to the Democrat by a little more than a hundred votes. (I have to admit, the Democrats are much better at getting the dead vote out.) Once they accomplished that they can start the process of cloning.

For an education skewed to the left, they could also annex Berkeley, stick it in the Big Sky, and reword the Idaho motto to "tax and spend, tax and spend, tax and spend …"
