Abortion is killing innocent children

On Feb. 10, 2005, Cindy Aase wrote a letter to the editor about abortion. She claimed it was indeed the woman's choice and that only children who are already born should have any sort of rights.

Well, news flash, Cindy, recent studies have proven that the fetus in a mother's womb has a different DNA as well as a separate heartbeat. The Supreme Court has indeed ruled that a fetus is a baby, though they have taken no specific action. This therefore proves that a fetus is a human, not some little organism that deserves to die just because the mother thinks that she can't possibly carry it.

Have you ever considered adoption? It is a brilliant alternative to the disgusting murder that we dare to disguise with the word "abortion."

I do agree with Cindy's suggestions for a better community, however, we should help our homeless children and help feed those in need. We should encourage those fathers to come and be fathers to their children.

But in every way, abortion is nothing but a silent massacre that is going to ruin our country. A fetus is a baby, it is a living human being, and whenever a doctor performs or a woman has an abortion, they are killing a child. Just like those children on the street, Cindy. Would it be OK to just run our there and just start killing them? Would that be OK with you, Cindy? Because what you and every other pro-murder person is saying is that it is all right to kill a child — a helpless, defenseless child. And you're killing them, Cindy; you and your friends are killing them.
