Michael Fischer

Michael Fischer died Feb. 21, 2005, in Coeur d'Alene after a long battle with cancer.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Judith A. Fischer. Mike was a much loved and respected member of many extended families, including Jack, Catherine, Natalie and Lexie Jensen; Karon, Bruce, Jason, Andrews and Elisha Macek; Shana Fogarty and Barbara Busbee. Mike enjoyed and treasured a large circle of friends and his spirit of love and generosity will live on in those lives he touched.

Mike was born in San Francisco, Calif., on Nov. 2, 1936. He lived and worked in San Francisco until retiring to Sandpoint in 1992.

Mike loved to play golf and was a life member of the Lincoln Park Golf Club in San Francisco, and was a past member of Hidden Lakes Golf Club in Sandpoint.

Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, 2005, at First Baptist Church in Sandpoint. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to March of Dimes Foundation, 222 W.
