Paul Winston Jordan, 82

Paul Winston Jor-dan, 82, passed away on Feb. 24, 2005, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 28, 2005, at the Sandpoint United Methodist Church with Pastor Darryn Hewson officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in Bozeman, Mont.

Paul was born Aug. 28, 1922, in Butte, Mont. He grew up in Butte and graduated from Montana State University with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering and a master's degree in agricultural engineering.

Paul served his country during World War II from 1941-'45 and was a first lieutenant in the Air Force. He traveled worldwide for many years with an aerial photo mapping company.

Paul married Kathryn Koger on July 30, 1943, in Bozeman.

He was a longtime resident of Bozeman, where he worked for Montana State University and then in ranching full-time.

In 1991, he and his wife, Kathryn, moved to Sandpoint. He is cherished and will ever be a part of our lives and hearts and will be remembered for his generosity, loyalty, youthfulness, wonderful sense of humor and helpfulness. He was a committed husband, father, grandpa and great-grandpa.

Paul was a member of the Sandpoint United Methodist Church. He was community oriented and was a very active member of the Sandpoint Lions Club, where he held the office of treasurer.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Jordan, PhD; a daughter, Sharon (Duane) Mohr; a son, Dan Jordan; granddaughters, Kari Albro, Rene Gibbs, Tara McNeill and Michelle Jordan; grandsons, Joe Jordan and Larry Jordan; and great-grandsons, Chris Kennedy, and Nick, Chris and Josh Jordan.

Memorials may be made in Paul's honor to the Sandpoint Lions Club, P.O. Box 414, Sandpoint, ID 83864.
