Multi-story buildings don't belong in city

This letter is in response to the article regarding tall, multi-story buildings here in Sandpoint. If anybody wants them, I suggest them move to New York, Chicago, San Diego or Los Angeles. I'm sure at one time all those places were small, quaint wonderful places to live and raise a family.
Go back if you miss traffic lights, malls, multi-cinemas, entertainment on every corner. Here, we have the Monday Hikers Club, baseball games, Panida Theater, the lake in the summer and snow fun in the winter. I like our small-town look, and would keep it just the way it is.
