Vern Leo Jenn, 71

Vern Leo Jenn, 71, of Naples, Idaho, died Feb. 16, 2005, at Kootenai Medical Center.

A memorial celebration will be held on March 19, 2005, from 2-6 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge, Aerie No. 3522, in Bonners Ferry.

He was born June 6, 1933, in Ionia, Iowa, to Frank and Letha (Bucknell) Jenn.

He retired as a boilermaker and had traveled to every state except Florida.

He was a member of the Eagles and was a third-year trustee.

Vern enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing and flying and he was a wing walker for four years in the early 1950s.

He is survived by his companion, Julie Johnson of Naples; his mother, Letha Jenn of Charles City, Iowa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Virgil and Joyce Jenn of Cedar Falls, Iowa, Raymond and Mary Jenn of Waterloo, Iowa, Norbert Jenn of Ionia, and Donald Jenn of Redding, Calif.; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Larry Krull of Rochester, Minn.; daughters, Lisa Shea and her husband, Matt, of Mead, Wash., and Connie Streek and family of Tucson, Ariz.; and grandson, Benjamin Idarius of Talmage, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Jenn, in 1969; and his brother, Ralph Jenn, in 1968.

Yates Funeral Home of Coeur d'Alene is in charge of arrangements.
