COEUR d'ALENE — Junior guard Ashleigh Mire poured in 25 points, including 4 of 6 from 3-point range, for the visiting Bulldogs (3-2 IEL, 8-3).
Mire hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter, one in the second. She finished 6 of 10 from the field, 9 of 10 from the foul line.
"We were running all kinds of stuff at her. We tried everything; she was just unconscious," Lake City coach Darren Taylor said. "It was a pretty impressive display of basketball."
Kelsey James added 16 points and nine rebounds for Sandpoint, which lost to Lake City by one point at home last month. The Bulldogs hit 18 of 37 from the field, including 7 of 9 from 3-point land.
Georgia Burke had 17 points and three steals for Lake City (6-2, 8-6), which hit 6 of 13 from behind the arc. Brittany Bemis hit two of those, and added 15 points. Breanna Sande had five rebounds and three assists for the Timberwolves, who tied the game in the fourth quarter after Sandpoint led by 12 in the third.
Lake City plays host to Coeur d'Alene on Friday.
