Bears edge Bulldogs 48-47

SANDPOINT — An offensive surge by Moscow in the fourth period led to a 48-47 Inland Empire League victory over Sandpoint in 4A boys basketball action Friday night at Les Rogers Court.

Senior Blake Mahler led the Bulldogs with a team-high 13 points and two steals, while senior Anthony Sorentino posted 10 points and two steals. Senior Ben Mitchell had nine points and 11 rebounds.

Sandpoint plays host to Post Falls on Tuesday.
