Solution needs to be environmentally safe

In reference to your article about the Southside Water and Sewer District election, I would like to make the following statement.

Based on my professional engineering education and background, I believe that it is the obligation of the board to recommend a solution to the voters that is reliable, cost effective, environmentally benign and can be completed in a timely manner. The taxpayers of the district who will pay the bill should make the final decision.
