Let's make courtesy all the latest 'rage'

| July 6, 2005 9:00 PM

Traveling anywhere with inconsiderate or blissfully ignorant drivers occur in all places from Granite Hill to L.A. and beyond.

I, too, have had near death experiences coming up that hill to Bonner County. The cattle truck and three cars nearly collided at the merging lanes and ended up with smoking tires as the brakes screamed. I think they saved a precious 20 secnds of travel time to town as they fell behind another line of cars. Then there are people passing me on Boyer speeding 50-plus mph then I find an elder doing 25 mph on the Long Bridge. A semi waiting at a stop sign behind me impatiently revving his engine to spur me into a tight traffic situation.

Road courtesy … allowing pedestians to cross a walk in town or not blocking an intersection while in a long line of cars waiting for a stop light … it all seems so simple but others may think it's all the latest "rage."
