Paul L. Kram Jr., 56

Paul L. Kram Jr., 56, a resident of Wheaton, Ill., and part-time resident of Sandpoint, Idaho, died suddenly Thursday, July 7, 2005, in Chicago. He was born March 4, 1949, in Chicago.

He worked as senior vice president for FIMAT USA, a commodities trading firm in Chicago. He was a member of the Union League Club of Chicago and St. Michael's Parish in Wheaton. He was a marathon and triathlon athlete who competed around the country and the world in his avocaton. Recently, he began horseback riding and regularly rode in the Wheaton area.

Paul is survived by his sons, Kevin, Christopher (Mieke Blees) and Timothy; his great friend, Rosemary Gullikson; siblings Peter (Anne), Susan (Don) Kumler, Philip, Daniel, Joan, Edward (Michelle) and Matthew; nine nieces and nephews; and his mother, Nancy Dineen Kram.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul L. Kram Sr.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 13, from 4-9 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St. in Wheaton.

Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Savier Church, 124 N. Spring Ave., La Grange, Ill. Internment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside.

Memorials may be directed to Mercy Home of Chicago or Jesuit International Mission of Jesuit Province of Chicago.
