Enough is enough, majority wants byway

Please, enough is enough.

You are not speaking for the majority. Over the last few years I have seen a formal vote, several official polls, many unofficial polls and not to mention a lot of around-the-water-cooler talk, and the common thread among all this is — the majority of the residents want the bypass and we want it now. The last time that I checked, there was a thing in this country called democracy, and it seems to me that it has something to do with majority rules. Does anybody else remember this from school? I couldn't stay quiet any longer. Not only are you not speaking for the majority, now you're going to try to cost us our hard-earned tax dollars to defend our majority decision. If anyone has a petition or anything that is going around to try to speed this process up, please give me a call, I would like to be one of the first to sign, as one of the majority!
