Inez Evelyn 'Inie' Stack, 80

Inez E. 'Inie' (Polenske) Stack, 80, passed away Monday, July 18, 2005, at her home in Spokane, Wash.

Viewing will be Wednesday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Thursday July 21 at 10 a.m. at Heritage with a graveside service at 12:30 p.m. at the Edwall Cemetery.

She was born in Reardan, Wash., in 1925 and was raised on the family farm in Edwall. She was the daughter of Oscar and Esther Polenske.

Inie graduated from Edwall High School in 1943 and attended Washington State College.

She married Keith Courtney Stack in 1946 and they farmed in Edwall until 1986 when they moved to Laclede, Idaho. They returned to the Spokane area in 2002.

She left behind her husband of 59 years K. C., two daughters Cristi Eaton of Ellensburg, Suzi Arndt, of Edwall and son David Stack of Spokane, 8 grandchildren and one great-grand child, two sisters Mrs. Ray Giles (Carolyn) of Cheney and Mrs. Al Wollweber (June) of Edwall. Her parents and her son Barney (1970) preceded her in death.
