NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Planning and Zoning Commission will hold public hearings at the following times on Thursday, August 4, 2005, in Courtroom 4 of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:
5:00 P.M. - FILE V352-05 - VARIANCE REQUEST: DEPTH TO WIDTH - AL & KAROLYN BURRELL are requesting to vary from the subdivision depth to width standard ratio of 3:1 in order to subdivide a portion of Lot 11 of the Albany Falls Orchard tracts into a +/-2.3 acre lot and a 2.17 acre lot. The proposed lots would have depths to widths of +/-4.75:1 and 4:1. The site is zoned Suburban 1/3 and is located off of U.S. Highway 2 in Section 28, Township 56 North, Range 5 West, B.M.
5:15 P.M. - FILE V353-05 - VARIANCE REQUEST: FRONT YARD SETBACK - NAT LOUIK is seeking approval for a front yard variance to allow an existing home to be located +/-20.75 feet from the front property line, where 25 feet is required by ordinance. The site is located on Missouri Street and is described as Lot 8, Block 7, of Coolin Townsite in Section 10, Township 59 North, Range 4 West, B.M. The site is zoned Rural.
5:30 P.M. - FILE ZC313-05 - ZONE CHANGE REQUEST: AGRICULTURAL TO RURAL - SUGAR MOUNTAIN DEVELOPMENT GROUP is seeking to rezone +/-27.5 acres from Agricultural (10-acre site area minimums) to Rural (5-acre site area minimums). The site is located +/-5 miles east of Kootenai and south of the Hidden Lakes Golf Course on U.S. Highway 200 East, in Section 6, Township 57 North, Range 1 East, B.M.
5:45 P.M. - FILE C819-05 - CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A COMMUNITY FACILITY AND CHURCH - WILDERNESS RANCH MINISTRIES is seeking conditional use permit approval to operate a church and private community facility encompassing a food bank, meals program, training and ministry and associated chapel and housing. The +/-56-acre site was formerly operated as an alcohol treatment center, located +/-3 1/2 miles north of Spirit Lake in Section 36, Township 54 North, Range 5 West, B.M. The site is zoned Rural and is accessed by Paisley Road.
