NICAN, 'UCAN' keep byway away from the west side

Thanks, but no thanks, NICAN. It's very generous of you to offer up the west side for the Sandpoint bypass. What's not good for your backyard is just fine for mine? How arrogant. Please justify to me why saving a couple of thousand feet of Sand Creek, trumps the destruction of tens of thousands of acres of wildlife habitat and wetlands, thousands of feet of riverbank to accommodate a new bridge and the uprooting of hundreds of families. Not to mention the overwhelming escalation in costs and delays. How can you, in all seriousness, constantly play the "environmental" card when the alternative you promote would be an ecological disaster?

UCAN? You can keep your bypass! The west side doesn't want it and I can think of a lot of other things UCAN do with it.
