Sherion D. 'Grandma Sheri' Renfro, 64

Sherion D. "Grandma Sheri" Renfro, 64, died suddenly in Bellingham, Wash., at St. Joseph Hospital on Thursday, July 21, 2005.

She was born May 30, 1941, in Hope, Idaho (Incubator Hill). She was one of nine children born to Claude and Anna Hatfield.

She was married June 2, 1958, to Herman (Abe) Renfro.

She was hard working and fiercely independent. Sheri had a great zest for life and enjoyed many hobbies, among them reading, baking, crochet, fishing, and especially card games. She was an avid Nascar fan.

Surviving relatives are sisters, Bert Lawson and Louise Tucker; brothers, Terry and Ally Hatfield, Donald and Lynda Hatfield; children, Roxie and Paul Ostrom, Marty and Don Wilkins, Mike and Cathy Renfro, and Eurie (Sissy) Renfro; grandchildren, Gary and Keith Ostrom, Amanda Goff, DewaYlle and Deanna Renfro, Misty Mostrom, and Rachael Mumm; and seven great-grandchildren, and another on the way. Sheri was preceeded in death by her son, Larry Renfro.

A private celebration of her life with family and friends with a potluck lunch will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 29,2005.

Her remains will placed near her favorite fishing and camping spot in Oregon.
