BGH firings came as a shock

I have given birth to all three of my children at BGH. Maria Walden was the delivery and aftercare nurse for the last two. Patty Omodt was involved in the aftercare for all three births. They were both very professional and knowledgeable, but more important to me, personal and caring.

I was shocked to read that both of them have been recently fired from the OB staff. It sounds to me that something is seriously wrong with the hospital's management staff to get rid of employees that are such an asset to the department. I'm glad I don't plan on having anymore children. I wish Patty and Maria well.
