ORDINANCE NUMBER 77

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DOVER, IDAHO SETTING FORTH ITS AUTHORITY; AMENDING CITY OF DOVER ORDINANCE NUMBER 60 BY CHANGING THE SALARY OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL MEMBERS AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF Dover, Idaho;

Section I-MAYOR AND COUNCIL SALARIES; Commencing January 1, 2006, the salary of the Mayor and of the Members of the Dover City Council shall be as follows:

(a) The Mayor of Dover shall receive an annual salary in the sum of twenty-four hundred dollars ($2,400.00) payable at $200.00 per month.

(b) Each member of the council shall receive an annual salary in the sum of twelve hundred dollars ($1,200.00) payable at $100.00 per month.

(c) Whenever any member of the council assumes the office of Mayor during his prolonged absence, such Council Member shall receive an additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) per diem while so acting.

PASSED AND ADOPTED AS AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF DOVER BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL IN REGULAR SESSION ON THE 19TH DAY OF MAY, 2005.
