Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2005, at Coffelt's Moon Chapel in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Bonny was born on Dec. 30, 1946, in San Rafael, Calif., the daughter of George and Dorothy (McClellan) Bitter.

She grew up in the small community of Belvedere, Calif., and the San Francisco Bay area, and attended Marin Catholic High School, where she graduated in 1964.

She worked as an accountant for her father's practice.

She married Thomas E. Schellinger on Dec. 24, 1978 and moved to Sandpoint, where she worked with her husband at Mr. T's Four Wheel Drive Shop. She also worked as an accountant for Gas & Go, Lake Pre Mix and other area businesses.

Bonny had a great love for sailing, growing up in the bay area and skiing in the Lake Tahoe area.

She also loved to play video games with her daughter and the local kids, many of whom would tell you she was hard to beat.

Survivors include her daughter, Bonny Schellinger of Sandpoint; brothers James Bitter, Allen Bitter and Bruce Bitter; a sister, Wendy Strickley, and a nephew, Paul Strickley, both of Sandpoint. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Donations to help her daughter Bonny can be made through Paul Strickley, 1815 Spruce St., Sandpoint.

Donations made to Paul's account will help offset Bonny's care and daily expenses.

A potluck luncheon will be held following the memorial service at Bonny's home at 1419 Spruce St.

Arrangements are under the care of Coffelt Funeral Service in Sandpoint.
