Helen Dorothea Gore, 84

Helen Dorothea Gore, 84, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Helen was born on Jan. 25, 1921, in Oakland, Calif., the daughter of Francis and Clementine Girot, also of Oakland.

Helen was employed as an Army volunteer during World War II as an ombudsman. She later worked in real estate.

She had a very wry sense of humor and enjoyed joking around with her sons.

She loved the '49ers football team and enjoyed taking rides and looking at the beautiful scenery in and around Sandpoint.

Helen also enjoyed playing bingo with the residents at the Evergreen Assisted Living in Sandpoint.

She is survived by her cherished sons, Jerry, Steve and Michael Gore; daughters-in-law, Mary Gore and Abbe Gore; grandson, Cameron Gore and his wife, Deborah; granddaughter, Sara Gore; grandchildren, Andy, Eric and Melissa Gore; and five great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Elroy Gore in 1979.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint, Idaho.
