Leta Marie Haviland, 68, passed away in Sandpoint, Idaho, on Feb. 28, 2005.

Private family services will be held.

Leta was born in Colfax, Wash., on Oct. 4, 1936. She lived in Clark Fork, Idaho, and Wallace, Idaho, where she attended school, graduating from Wallace High School.

She lived in Oklahoma and Kansas, working as a telephone operator, returning to North Idaho in 1984. She enjoyed gardening and caring for elderly people.

She is survived by a stepdaughter, Tammy Brothers of Ventura, Calif.; two brothers, Gordon Pratt of Hayden Lake, Idaho, and Harry Haviland of Parsons, Kan.; and two sisters, Linda Bell Morris of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and LaDonna Webb of Utah.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service of Sandpoint.
