Writer's comments were narrow-minded, wrong

| March 7, 2005 8:00 PM

Well, now I've been judged twice. The first time right here in this paper, the second on your radio show.

Both as incorrect as saying the sun sets in the east. The truth is Mr. Litsinger, I know who I am and you don't. The scary thing is that you broadcast what you don't know on the radio.

The point I was trying to subtly make and obviously failed to do, is that the over generalizations we make about large groups of people are often very, very wrong. Especially if we make those over generalizations based on inadequate or erroneous information. Mr. Litsinger, you prove my point exactly.

To quote you, "Excuse me, Parise, but you are not a radical left-wing Democrat."

Excuse me, Mr. Litsinger, but how dare you presume to tell me who I am. How dare you presume to think you know me better than I do.

How dare you come to conclusions about me based on so few facts and then broadcast those conclusions for any to hear. Mr. Litsinger that is shoddy reasoning, irresponsible journalism and a large part of what is wrong with humanity in general.

You read my letter Mr. Litsinger and saw only what you chose to see, omitting the rest. You also came to your conclusions based on narrow-minded interpretations of the issues I raised.

The narrower your world, the less you will see. I will encourage Democrats to follow your advice about kicking butt Mr. Litsinger. Shall we start with you?
