ORDINANCE NO. 1131
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION OF THE STATE OF IDAHO, AMENDING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF APPROXIMATELY 945 SQUARE FEET LOCATED ON HEMLOCK COURT IN PONDEROSA PARK ADDITION IN SECTION 16, TOWNSHIP 57 NORTH, RANGE 2 W.B.M. BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO FROM RESIDENCE "C" TO LIGHT INDUSTRIAL; PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENT TO THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO REFLECT THIS CHANGE; PROVIDING THAT ALL PRIOR ZONES APPLICABLE TO LANDS DESCRIBED IN SECTION 1 ARE HEREBY SUPERSEDED; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS: All required public hearings have been held concerning a requested zone change from Residence "C" to Light Industrial "ER" for the below-described property; and
WHEREAS: The zone change has been found to be consistent with the overall goal, objectives, and policies of the Sandpoint Comprehensive Plan; and
WHEREAS: The zoning amendment is also consistent with the Sandpoint City Comprehensive Plan Housing Component; and
WHEREAS: The amended zoning designation meets the guidelines of the Comprehensive Plan by promoting orderly development of land use.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANDPOINT, BONNER COUNTY, IDAHO:
SECTION 1. The zoning classification for the below-described property shall be, and the same is changed from the current designation of Residence "C" to Light Industrial "ER."
The real property, located in Section 16, Township 57 North, Range 2 W.B.M., Bonner County, Idaho, being a portion of Lot 1, Block 2, Ponderosa Park is described as follows:
Beginning at the northwest corner of said Lot 1; Thence S79°21'23"E, along the north line of said Lot 1, a distance of 8.29 feet; Thence leaving said north line, S00°02'22"E a distance of 117.83 feet; Thence N89°31'46"W a distance of 8.15 feet to the west line of said Lot 1; Thence N00°02'08"W, along said west line, a distance of 119.29 feet to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. That said land be designated as Light Industrial "ER" on the official zoning map of the City of Sandpoint.
SECTION 3. That the prior zoning designation for the land described in Section 1 of this Ordinance is hereby superseded.
SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force upon its passage, approval, and publication of its summary in at least one (1) issue of the Bonner County Daily Bee, a newspaper of general distribution in the City of Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho, and hereby declared to be the official newspaper for the for the publication of this Ordinance.
PASSED AND ADOPTED as an Ordinance of the City of Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho, at a regular session of the City of Sandpoint City Council on the 16th day of March, 2005.
