SANDPOINT — The Lake City softball team was hitting on all cylinders as they blew past Sandpoint 28-4 in an Inland Empire League game at Travers Park Wednesday.Richelle Fennenboch led the Timberwolves with two homers and three singles, and Haley Tate hit a home run.Lake City finished the game with 29 hits, while the Bulldogs recorded 18 errors."We played them last week and they shut us out 24-0 so at least we scored some runs this time," said Sandpoint coach Derek Dickinson. "So there is something to build on."Hitting doubles for the Bulldogs were Akela Marley and Lizzie Norval. The hits helped spur a short rally in the fourth inning that kept the Bulldogs from getting shutout."It was a good way to end the game," said Dickinson.
