Craig's Alaska drilling comment disappoints

After the Senate voted to allow drilling in the Alaska Wilderness Refuge, NPR interviews some of the senators, including our own Larry Craig. Here is one of his statements: "It's 60 degrees below zero up there!"
Poor Senator Craig. He seems to think the refuge needs to be preserved for him.
As the thinking custodians of the Earth, it is up to preserve it so that it can sustain life in the future, all life, not just the present lifestyles of our nearsighted senators and their thoughtless human constituents.
