Do the right thing
I wrote a letter to the Daily Bee about two months ago about my school getting misjudged. Now, I'm writing to talk to you about something else, it's about the mentally challenged.
Do you know no one can choose their lives or the way they look or act? Why should you make fun of them or judge them for the way they are. They don't choose their lives. I mean, how would you like it if someone came up to you and told you that you're ugly. People do it to them — it's just they can't do anything about it because the other people have no sense.
I just can't sit and do nothing about it I have to tell you how I feel. I'm sick of all the prejudiced and irrational people. People need to stop talking about something they don't know about. I've never really talked behind someone's back because it isn't right and I'm more mature then that. I'd rather have people who like me than hate me, but then again a lot of people may not like me at all. But people need to stop making fun of people who may not know what they're doing or how they act.
I'm sure if anyone that is mentally challenged and they knew a way to change it than they would, I know I would. I wouldn't want to be picked on all day and night getting pushed down and talked down to from people who don't know me and don't understand me. Well I just had to say something about it and I'm glad I did because at least someone did. Remember if you have something to say and you know its right to, you may as well say it for you and others.
