Referendum should be binding on City Council

| May 2, 2005 9:00 PM

It seems clear to me that banks and real estate developers are always about wealthy people grabbing even more for themselves. Often at the expense of someone or everyone else.

John Korn's arrogant and pedantic letter (May 1, 2005) is but a symptom of a deeper greed that is rotting the fabric of our community, our precious freedom and even our western culture.

Should the people be heard? Of course they should. What amazes me is that a referendum of the people could ever be considered to be "advisory only."
