Bulldog boys hot on Bears Trail
LEWISTON — Brooke DeMers cleared 5 feet to win the high jump Thursday to highlight the Sandpoint girls performance during the first day of the 4A Region 1 track meet at Vollme Bowl.
The Bulldog boys, who were in second place Friday evening with 33 points — just three behind first place Moscow, had a pair of victories from both Brian Resso (discus and shot put) and Eric DeMers (long and triple jump). Dustin Hoogland also topped the podium by clearing 14 feet, 4 inches in the pole vault.
Some team scores were incomplete because of rulings that have yet to be resolved.
