Building department isn't needed in Bonner County

To Bonner County commissioners,

I have been reading about how the county commissioners are considering reinstating a building department for Bonner County.

I realize that some of the commissioners were not residing in Bonner County the last time the building department was a hot topic. The ones that were here should advise them that the people of Bonner County did not want or need a building department.

The election that followed told the county commissioners the people of Bonner County did not want or need a building department when they were voted out of office. This could happen again.

I have built several commercial buildings as well as private residences in the last 25 years. The best inspectors on the job were bank appraisers and myself.

The lending parties as well as anyone putting up their own money are going to see that the construction is done right.

To the Bonner County commissioners, we do not need or want a building department.
