Johnston treats people with dignity, respect

The letters to editor section (May 22, 2005, Daily Bee) contained another attack on James "Bean" Johnston from another retired police officer. Every attack letter against James that I have seen in the Bee is from someone connected to the police.

James is not currently running for any office and he holds no official status.

People may not like the wording of his writings and you may not agree with the methods he advocates for reform but we all know that James "Bean" Johnston stands for "treating people with dignity."

Why does this image invoke so much hostility from the law enforcement community?
