Bessie Bruhn, 82

Bessie Bruhn, 82, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2005, in Goodyear, Ariz.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005, at Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Bessie was born on Nov. 5, 1922, in Bonners Ferry, Idaho. She attended schools in Bonners Ferry and Sandpoint, graduating from Sandpoint High School. She continued her education and graduated from USC.

Bessie was employed by the state of Idaho for more than 34 years, retiring in 1986. In 1998, she moved to Scottsdale, Ariz.

Bessie enjoyed traveling, gardening, volunteering and researching her family's genealogy.

She also had worked for more than 10 years with the Lions Club Toys for Tots program in Sandpoint.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Perry of Scottsdale; four grandchildren, Casie Wohali of Naples, Idaho, Corey Chilton of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, and Drew and B.J. Perry of Scottsdale; and five great-grandchildren, Eagle, Amber, Ezekiel, Kaila and Rebekah Wohali of Naples; and a sister, Edythe Smith of Boise, Idaho.

Bessie was preceded in death by her parents, Laura and Harry Bliss; her husband, Everett Bruhn; and a sister, Ethyl Key.

Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Coffelt Funeral Service.
