Officials need to improve community's infrastructure

Sandpoint infrastructure

I want better lighting.

I want better sidewalks.

I want better parking.

As I get older I've come to realize I don't see as well, I don't walk as well and my driving skills are slowing. Why can't the city of Sandpoint improve our physical infrastructure before I fall down or get mugged one night while walking home? Because our elected officials cannot agree on a funding source to pay for these improvements so I guess I'll be forced to walk home with a flash light and in the middle of the street where the pavement isn't cracked and broken like the sidewalks. I hope I don't get run over by the cars looking for a parking spot.

Think of the people and how to solve their needs — not only for my generation but future generations. I support finding a source to pay for these improvements. Get off your seats elected officials and make it happen.

I want better lighting.

I want better sidewalks.

I want better parking.
