NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold public hearings at the following times on Wednesday, December 7, 2005, in the Board Room of the Bonner County Courthouse, 215 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following requests:
1:30 P.M. - FILE SS1226-05 - TUCKER MEADOWS - PRELIMINARY PLAT - RICHARD & RUTH TUCKER are proposing to subdivide a +/-20 acre parcel into two 10 acre lots. The subject property is zoned Agricultural, and is located on Samuels Road approximately 11 miles northeast of Sandpoint in Section 34, Township 59 North, Range 1 West, B.M.
1:45 P.M. - FILE SS1156-05 - TOWNSEND PLAT - PRELIMINARY PLAT - MARK TOWNSEND is seeking to subdivide a +/-20.14 acre parcel into three lots between +/-5.3 and +/-8.2 acres. The subject property is zoned Rural and is accessed by Brook Drive, +/-7 miles southwest of Sandpoint in the Carr Creek area in Section 23, Township 57 North, Range 3 West, B.M.
2:00 P.M. - FILE SS1231-05 - GLENSHIRE ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - LARRY & JUNE TOPPENBERG are requesting to subdivide a +/-20 acre parcel into four +/-5-acre lots. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Brisboy Road approximately 3 miles south of the City of Sandpoint in Section 3, Township 56 North, Range 2 West, B.M.
2:15 P.M. - FILE SS1209-05 - BOX CANYON ESTATES, FIRST ADDITION - PRELIMINARY PLAT - COREY WILLIAMSON & MICHAEL GEORGE are requesting to subdivide a +/-20 acre parcel into four residential lots, ranging in size from +/-5.06 acres to +/-5.16 acres. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Box Canyon Road, a private ingress/egress easement from Rapid Lightning Road, +/-16 miles northeast of the city of Kootenai in Section 1, Township 58 North, Range 1 East, B.M.
2:30 P.M. - FILE S1149-05 - BOX CANYON ESTATES - PRELIMINARY PLAT - COREY WILLIAMSON & MICHAEL GEORGE are requesting to subdivide a +/-40.9 acre parcel into eight residential lots, ranging in size from +/-5.06 acres to +/-5.32 acres. The site is zoned Rural and is located off of Box Canyon Road, a private ingress/egress easement from Rapid Lightning Road, +/-16 miles northeast of the city of Kootenai in Section 1, Township 58 North, Range 1 East, B.M. The Planning and Zoning Commission at its regularly scheduled public hearing of October 6, 2005, recommended approval of this application to the Board of County Commissioners.
Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearings to verify if these items will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.

IN THE EVENT THAT OCCUPANCY OF THE BOARD ROOM EXCEEDS FIRE CODE STANDARDS, THE HEARINGS COULD BE RELOCATED TO ANOTHER PUBLIC LOCATION WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE. SIGNS WILL BE POSTED IDENTIFYING THE NEW LOCATION.
