Charles 'Pat' Connery, 61
Charles "Pat" Connery, 61, passed away in Seattle on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rev. Dennis C. Day of St. Joseph's Catholic Church will officiate with burial in Pinecrest Memorial Park.
Pat was born in Ticonderoga, N.Y., on Dec. 16, 1943, graduating from Ticonderoga High School in 1961. He graduated from the Simmons School of Embalming and Mortuary Science in Syracuse, N.Y. He was employed by both the Connery and Sons Funeral Home and the Wilcox Funeral Home, both in Ticonderoga.
In the late 1960s, he was employed by the Carpenters Union on the New Mill Project in Ticonderoga. He then moved to Prudo Bay, Alaska, working as a carpenter on the oil pipeline. He later moved to Seattle and became a foreman on the Seattle Superdome project. He lived in Sandpoint, Idaho, from 1984 to 1986.
He was a noted hunter and fisherman while living in Ticonderoga. When he moved to the West Coast, he continued his love of the outdoors, spending weeks on horseback, both hunting and fishing in Idaho.
In his later years, he took up golf.
He is survived by a daughter, Trisha (and Jason) Winchell of Crown Point, N.Y.; three sons, Mark Connery of Phoenix, Ariz., Shawn (and Jennifer) Connery of New Jersey, and Stephen (and Karyn) Connery of Bolton Landing, N.Y.; four brothers, Michael (and Linda) Connery, John (and Kitty) Connery, and Paul Connery, all of Ticonderoga, and Peter (and Bonnie) Connery of Queensbury, N.Y.; four grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; and close family friends, Murle Rogers, Mike and Pam Rogers and family of Sandpoint, Idaho.
