Gloria Jean (Missy) Linvall, 63
Gloria Jean (Missy) Linvall passed away on Nov. 20, 2005, in Sandpoint, Idaho, at the age of 63.
Memorial services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, in the First Lutheran Church in Sandpoint. Pastor David Olson and Pastor Paul Graves will officiate.
Gloria was born in Santa Monica, Calif., on Feb. 7, 1942, to Eric and Jean Maass.
She graduated from Mira Costa High School in 1959. In 1961, she bore her only child, Ronn M. Bennett with Terry Cramer.
She married Bill D. Bennett of Malibu in 1964.
They moved to Sandpoint, Idaho, and lived on Lake Pend Oreille, where she worked at the chamber of commerce. In 1968, she and her son moved back to California, where they lived in Manhattan Beach and she worked as a bookkeeper.
In 1975, she married Allen R. Linvall and they lived in Downey, Calif., until they moved to Sagle, Idaho, in 1982.
Gloria loved riding her horse and playing with her dogs.
She worked as the manager of the Cottage Craftsman Art Gallery as well as a salesperson for Eve's Leaves. This connection afforded her the opportunity to participate in Holly Eve for many years.
Gloria was an active member of the Pend Oreille Arts Council and was instrumental in coordinating Art Walk events. She enjoyed being an active member of the Sandpoint community. She made many lifelong friends and will surely be missed.
She is survived by her mother, Jean M. Maass; brothers, Ron, Eric and and Jeff; son, Ronn Bennett; and grandchildren, Rikki Bennett and Jesse Bennett.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Robert (Bob) Linvall in 1986; her father, Eric Carl Mass, in 1997, and her grandmother, Elizabeth Sitch in 1995.
Memorials may be made to "Kids in Motion" or a charity of the donor's choice.

She moved with her family at the age of 3 to Sandpoint, where she attended schools and graduated from Sandpoint High School in 1949. She worked as a floor manager for Ben Franklin's Variety Store in Sandpoint for a few years and married Jack Rogers on Feb. 13, 1951, in Sandpoint. She continued to work for Ben Franklin's for many years until moving to Missoula, Mont., in 1966. She worked for J.J. Newberry's Department Store as a floor manager until her retirement. She returned to Sandpoint in 1992 and worked for Wal-Mart prior to its opening and continued to work as a department supervisor in houseware, until illness forced her to retire this year.Her hobbies included gardening, growing roses, Blueback fishing, crocheting, knitting, traveling and her family. Survivors include her husband, Jack L. Rogers of Sandpoint; sons, Dan Rogers of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, Dean Rogers of Las Vegas, Nev., and Doug Rogers of Canyon Ferry, Mont.; a granddaughter, Ashley Marie Rogers of Las Vegas; and brothers, Tom Bloxom of Coeur d'Alene and Jack Bloxom of Coeur d'Alene.She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Bob, Joe, Bill and Lonnie Bloxom.Lakeview Funeral Home in Sandpoint is handling the arrangements.
