COCOLALLA — Three people were injured in a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 95 on Saturday.

Idaho State Police said Shayonna M. Haughn was driving southbound when she drifted toward the northbound lane and abruptly corrected her course on the wet highway, causing her 1989 Honda Civic to roll several times.

The compact car landed upright in the northbound lane. The 4 p.m. crash happened near the Southside School Road intersection.

Haughn, an 18-year-old from Pinehurst, was wearing her seat belt, but two of her passengers were not, ISP said. Dustin J. Coast, 18, of Kingston was ejected from the vehicle. Jared L. Cochran, an 18-year-old from Kellogg, also was injured.

The three were taken to Bonner General Hospital. Their conditions were not reported, although an EMS official with knowledge of the crash said on Monday they were ultimately treated and released.

State Police said Haughn was ticketed for allowing her vehicle to stray outside the southbound lane.
