Notice of Election

NOTICE IS HEREBY given that an election will be held on the 13th day of December 2005 to pose the questions as to whether or not certain property located within the boundaries of the West Bonner County School District #83 shall be excised from that district and annexed into the Lakeland School District #272, and; to ascertain whether or not an appropriate proportion of any bonded debt, and the interest thereon, of the Lakeland School District #272 should be assumed by the described property if excised from the West Bonner School District #83 and annexed into the Lakeland School District #272.

On the date of said election the polls will be open continuously from 8 o'clock am until 8 o'clock pm of the same day. The polling place for said election will be located at: Spirit Valley Christian Fellowship Hall on Highway 41 (Next to the HiCo Station) located at #82 in the Spirit Lake Industrial Park.

The boundaries of the certain properties proposed to be excised from the West Bonner County School District #83 and annexed into the Lakeland School District #272 are more properly described as those properties located in Sections 7, 8, 9, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, and 35 of Township 54N Range 4W and Sections 12, 13, 24, 25, and 36 of Township 54N, Range 5W all of which are located in Bonner County, Idaho.

A map showing the existing boundaries of the West Bonner County School District #83 and the existing boundaries of the Lakeland School District #272 and the area to be excised and annexed is available for public inspection during normal office hours of Monday through Friday from 9 am until 5 pm at the office of the Bonner County Clerk whose location is 215 South First Avenue in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Absentee ballots for said election will be available at the office of the Bonner County Clerk beginning at 9 am on the 1st day of December 2005 and continuing until 5 pm on 12th day of December 2005. All absentee ballots must be returned to the Bonner County Clerk at her office by the close of polls at 8 pm on the 13th day of December 2005.
