The Timberlake Tigers tore into the Lady Badgers Thursday, winning in four games , 26-24, 8-25, 25-20, 25-19.

"We definitely didn't play to our potential," said Bonners Ferry coach Janis Tucker.

"The potential's there, we've just got to play to it," she said.

The first game was a point-for-point dogfight, with Timberlake sneaking ahead to take the win.

Bonners Ferry missed five serves in the game, contributing to the loss.

"By this time in the season, we've got to be serving a little more consistently," Tucker said.

The fourth game saw aggressive serving from Badger Katie Poston and some fast teamwork from all the girls, but they couldn't keep it together for the win.

"It's just focus," Tucker said.

For Bonners Ferry, Poston had seven kills, seven aces, six digs and three blocks. Shantel Schirado followed with five digs and Becky Lowther with five kills. Lucy Kim-Brown had four digs and Tyga White and Miranda Neu had three apiece.

For the Tigers, Malarie Foster had 15 assists and seven digs, Tarra Tymesen had 11 kills and eight digs and Holli Edelblute had seven kills, 10 digs and four aces.
