MEETING & HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public meeting and public hearing at the following times on Tuesday, October 25, 2005, in the Sandpoint Community Hall, 204 S. First Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following request:

4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. FILE AM85-05 - COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT - LAND USE COMPONENT AND PROJECTED LAND USE MAP - SPECIAL MEETING - BONNER COUNTY will conduct an open house special meeting from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. to provide the public time to review a proposed amendment to the Bonner County comprehensive plan land use map, other resource maps, text and data and to discuss the proposal with planning staff and the governing bodies. Bonner County has initiated an amendment to the Comprehensive Plan to replace the land use component and the existing land use map with revised text and maps, in accord with the prescribed statutes and required elements of Idaho Code, Section 67-6508(e) and (n). Copies of the draft proposed land use map may be viewed at the open house or at the Bonner County Planning Department prior to the meeting.

6:00 P.M. FILE AM85-05 - COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT - LAND USE COMPONENT AND PROJECTED LAND USE MAP - PUBLIC HEARING - THE BONNER COUNTY COMMISSIONERS will conduct a public hearing beginning at 6 p.m. to receive testimony on the proposal to amend the Bonner County comprehensive plan projected land use map and land use component. The Bonner County Planning & Zoning Commission at its July 14, 2005, public hearing

recommended approval of the comprehensive plan amendments. Drafts of the comprehensive plan land use map and text may be viewed at Bonner County's web site at www.co.bonner.id.us or at the Planning Department prior to the public hearing.

Please contact the Bonner County Planning Department the day before the scheduled hearing to verify if this item will be heard on the date and at the time specified or continued to another date and time.
