Newton deserves shot on Sandpoint council

Elliott, Ogilvie back on the City Council? No thanks. In favor of the byway, but were in the cheering section for the urban renewal district, in favor of Miller's grant for yet another new city cop.

Lockwood? In favor of the URD, unsure of the structure? The byway? Campaign worker tells me "it's time has passed," but Steve says at the forum he supports it. No on Lockwood.

Helen Newton — yes on byway, no on any URD, no for another police officer. Big yes for the council.

Mr. Corn, your Oct. 18 letter from a guilty party, was most entertaining in its indignation against Helen.
