Boat Launch Project

Bonner County, Idaho

NOTICE OF

FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids will be received by Bonner County at the office of the Bonner County Commissioners, 215 South 1st Avenue, Sandpoint, Idaho 83864 on or before the 27th day of October, 2005, until the hour of 10:00 a.m. for the 2005 LaClede Boat Launch Project.

The project generally consists of the following:

Base Bid: Construction of 180 linear feet of 6-foot-wide pier dock, 222 square yards of concrete boat launch, 240 linear feet of log boom, an 8-foot by 20-foot floating dock, and approximately 40 project-related steel piling.

Bids will be opened in the office of the commissioners at the Bonner County Courthouse on October 27, 2005, at 10:00 a.m. on said date. All interested individuals are welcome to attend.

Bid forms, bidder's instructions, and specifications and contract forms may be examined at the following locations:

Sandpoint Plan Center, Chamber of Commerce Building, 928, Sandpoint, ID 83864, Phone 208-263-0887.

Bonner County Public Works Office, 4100 McGhee Road, 208-265-3617.

Copies may be obtained at the office of the Bonner County Public Works upon payment of Thirty Five Dollars and 00/100 ($35.001, non-refundable, for each set. The standard set of contract documents includes the project drawings.

All bids shall be presented or otherwise delivered to the Bonner County Commissioners under seal with a concise statement marked on the outside thereof identifying the expenditure to which the bid pertains.

All bids shall contain one of the following forms of bidder's security in an amount equal to 5% of the amount bid: (a) Cash, (b) Cashiers Check made payable to the County, (c) Certified Check made payable to the County, or (d) bidder's bond executed by a qualified Idaho Surety Company, made payable to the County. Bids will remain subject to acceptance for 45 days after the bid opening.

Davis-Bacon Wage Rates will not be applicable to this project.

The right is reserved to reject any or all Bids.
