Thanks for the great Junior Miss memories

As I look back through my years with Sandpoint Junior Miss, I am reminded of all the amazing people I have been so blessed to come in contact with.

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has so generously donated their precious time, money, gifts and support. This is an amazing community, filled with so many people I wish I could acknowledge individually.

From the board of directors who ran this program when I was a participant in 1982 to everyone who has stepped up and helped in countless ways, to my present board of directors.

Wendi Lies, her sweet personality makes her the wonderful person she is; Janice Jarzabek, an amazing lady who gives too much of herself to everyone and wants nothing in return; Margaret Sieber, our amazing artist who created incredible stage decorations for our Junior Misses; Rebecca Sorentino, a beautiful young lady whose heart is larger than life; and my wonderful husband, Sam Paris, who truly can do everything and is my best friend.

These people are my backbone. The program could not be what it is without people like them.

I feel so lucky to have had the opportunity to spend time with all the amazing Junior Misses, Little Misses and their parents over the years. These are memories to last a lifetime.

Sam and I are excited to be the "parents" while our daughter, Sheena, gets to make her own memories and experience being part of this great program.

My forever gratitude to all the amazing people I have been so blessed to know.
